I am Neha Tamhane. I have recently started to write this food blog. I have been married since two years only. I was working as an IT professional before marriage with lots and lots of deadlines and commitments. So I planned to quit my job so that I was able to spend happy time with my new family. My interest always lied in cooking. and I thoroughly enjoy it and I do with full dedication and without taking cooking as a tedious task ! Because I love cooking a lot…. J

Actually , I've been passionate about
cooking just like my mother since my teenage when I saw her cooking yummy food
for us. She just had to taste a dish in some hotel or anywhere outside and
second time me and my kiddo sis used to have the same dish wid lots and lots of
more taste in our drawing room in front of the television. She is just
impeccable wid the exact knowledge of measurement even if she cooks for a group
of 50 people widout a need to check before serving even once. Through those
days even I developed by passion for cooking and now I love to experiment
different cuisines as earlier didn’t get much time because of school , college
, job and then marriage. My Mumma always wanted to be a food blogger but she
had to face many constraints . So now as we share the same passion I think I
can share recipes from both of us. I don't admit myself as an expert
in cooking, to me the taste and perfection comes only by practice and
obviously experience.
I have just started this space as I
want to invest my time in my passion. Its only me as a author for this space
but the credit for the all the recipes and starting this blog should go to my
mother and my dear husband. My husband has always been one of my true supporter.
And definitely to all of you readers and friends who give me constructive
feedback which motivates me to do more. The recipes posted here are collective
from my mother, few from cookbooks, other blogs, word of mouth from
friends etc so most recipes posted here are borrowed ,adapted and but all are
tried on my own too before posting.... So Dont worry, I will post only
successful recipes here :)
Other than cooking, I spend my time either searching and innovating new recipes or reading books :) I rarely watch TV but I keep looking for tips and recipes over internet to make a good useful collection for all of us. J. I love listening to soft music and reading novels J.. but my main only cooking now :P
There is lots and lots of work put in
right from cooking , arranging , plating of the dish beautifully to make it
look tempting, then clicking clear and sharp pictures and then finally editing
before I put it here on the blog. So I would request you all to give credit and
please do inform before hand whenever you want to use the pictures. Hope you
would understand the pain taken in bringing out this food blog !!!
