Bread Rolls.... Or Twists n Turn Rolly Pollies

A Big helloo to everyone :) ...

So Any plans for weekend ?? How abt 2 recipes in line one special breakfast and one evening snack ?? I have a good idea... Lets have Bread rolls wid the morning tea... Crispy golden cover with mouth watering filling containing cheese , boiled potatoes , green chillies , onion.... MMMmm.... yummmy..... 

Only the thought is making me hungry.... Lets have it this Sunday morning.... and for Evening Snack.. We will check the next post...

So lets move ahead with Bread Rolls ... 

Ingredients for the Rolls :

1. Bread 4-5
2. Boiled Potatoes 3 Medium Sized 
3. Chopped Onion 1 Small Sized
4. Grated Cheese 3 Tablespoon
5. Chopped Green Chillies 3-4
6. Chopped Coriander Leaves 2 Tablespoons
7. Red Chilly Powder 1/2 teaspoon
8. Chaat Masala 1 teaspoon
9. Salt as per Taste.
10. Luke Warm Water 2-3 Cups in a Big Shallow Bowl
11. Oil to Deep Fry Rolls

Procedure :

Firstly , Take a Wok/Kadhai , add oil and keep it on medium flame. Till the oil is getting heated on the proper temperature chop the boiled potatoes in cubes. Add chopped onion , green chillies , grated cheese , coriander and spices with the potatoes. Mix well but don't mash the potatoes. Let them be in cubes as far as possible. 

Once the filling is properly mixed up its time to take the bread in hand. :)
It is a bit tricky task , So be little careful with it. Take a big bowl lukewarm water and a pinch of salt in it.

Take a bread piece in hand , dip it slightly in water. The bread will quickly soak lots of water and if you do not hurry up , in seconds the bread will fall in water dead. So the moment you  soak it , pick it up and squeeze the water with bread piece in between both of your palms.

Now, you will have a flat bread on your palm.Keep the potato filling just in the middle of the bread piece. Now bring all the wet corners in the middle and cover with both your palms and press with light hands.

You will get roll , exact shape would be pointed at edges and cylindrical in between. See the image and you will understand.  Make the similar with all the bread pieces. Then deep fry one or two at a time. But remember do not touch the rolls the moment you put them in the wok. Slightly roll and fry , so that the shape is undisturbed.

Bring out in a plate once the rolls have turned golden in colour... See Picture.
